Partnering for Success in APAC Microsoft Inspire 2022 #Catchup and More

Microsoft inspire background with event speakers

On 19-20 July 2002, Microsoft partners from around the world came together at Microsoft Inspire to discover the latest in Microsoft Cloud innovation and partner programs, hear partner and customer success stories, develop and deepen business relationships, and find opportunities for growth.

This year’s themes reflect the opportunities – and imperatives – of digital transformation, innovation, partnership, and security.

The Digital Imperative for Every Organization

Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO at Microsoft, kicked off this year’s Microsoft Inspire by iterated an existential need to go beyond talking about digital transformation to delivering on the digital imperative for every organization.

He highlighted five digital imperatives for every organization to do more with less, and how we are creating new opportunity for our partners across the Microsoft Cloud: Migrate to the cloud, empower fusion teams, unify data and apply AI models, collaborative business process, prioritize security.

All these imperatives accrue to the Microsoft Cloud – the only cloud that allows you to take advantage of both best-of-category products, as well as best-of-suite solutions across the entire tech stack, in every area that matters most to customers so that they can do more with less. Partnering for Success in APAC

We want our partners to be successful, so that they can help the world around us be more successful. It’s never been more important to connect what we build to what the world needs us to build. This is our collective purpose. And this exactly what Andrea Della Mattea, President at Microsoft APAC called out and what we focused on during the APAC Connection: Partnering for Success in APAC session.

She spoke of the enormity of the potential in the region – the fifth largest economy, one of the fastest growing populations and connected internet users, burgeoning tech start-up ecosystem – the digital potential is tremendous. In capturing this potential with our partners, Andrea spoke of Microsoft’s priorities and investments in APAC including delivering industry value and conglomerates in the region, accelerating country digital transformation while addressing digital literacy, skilling, and resilience through alliances, and focusing on sustainability.

Andrea also called out evolving and maturing our partner ecosystem as a key priority and investment in APAC – ensuring we have the right partner capacity and capabilities across our markets, helping our partners to build and deliver industry focused solutions that ultimately help our customers drive their business goals and outcomes, transforming our partnership model to improve our collaboration with partners.

Vivek Puthucode, Chief Partner Officer at Microsoft APAC, shared that we are only scratching the surface of this potential. Before detailing the “what” of partnering for success, Vivek shared our collective measurements of success – consumption, customers, talent, profitability, and community.

The strategy behind these success measures will build on the foundations established and progress made as a community.

We want our partners along this journey and Vivek called out key partner imperatives, including investing time to understand the evolution of the Microsoft Partner Network to the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program – an evolution in customers’ feedback that they want partners with the right capabilities, not just in terms of technical but also being able to stand and deliver the solution so that they can unpack business value.

Microsoft partners have been at the centre of how we bring technologies and business transformation to customers in markets around the world for decades. We remain committed to investing in resources, programs, and offers that help partners innovate and grow, meet emerging customer needs, and deliver on the promise of digital transformation.

Thank you for choosing Microsoft, and we are look forward to a fantastic year ahead and the opportunity we have in the market together.
