End of Extended Support for SQL Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 is on July 12, 2022, and October 10, 2023, respectively. For customers that can’t migrate these workloads before the deadlines, Microsoft offers 3-years of free Security Updates for Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 and SQL Server 2012 when they migrate to Azure.
