Microsoft partners play a vital role in customer success. Together, we’re empowering customers to tackle complex challenges and fast-track digital transformation. As a seller, your expert guidance connects customers to opportunities that help them compete at higher levels, innovate never-before-dreamed-of products and services, and accelerate efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
Behind the scenes, the Microsoft Cloud continues to advance at a scorching pace. Our solutions stand to offer greater value with new capabilities designed to supercharge business success across every industry while also helping customers achieve time to value as quickly as possible.
In fact, here at Microsoft, everything starts with the cloud. Microsoft is the world’s only provider of a full, end-to-end stack designed to power the digital transformation customers want and need. So, understanding how to land the One Microsoft Cloud opportunity, align with Microsoft field sales, and articulate “Why Microsoft” to customers is vital to your sales success—and your customer’s success.
Introducing the Microsoft Partner Sales Bootcamp
To help, we’ve put together the Microsoft Partner Sales Bootcamp. Led by Microsoft experts, this series of three-hour sessions will help you understand and sell the Microsoft Cloud in four solution areas: Business Applications, Azure, Modern Work, and Security.
By attending Microsoft Partner Sales Bootcamp sessions, you’ll get an insider’s look at what we’re doing internally, priorities we’re focused on, and what we’re hearing from customers. Use these sessions to build foundational knowledge in each solution area so you can fill your sales pipeline. We encourage you to bring your questions to these live, interactive sessions and get answers straight from Microsoft. Below, I’ll shed some light on what else you can expect.
Leverage the value of Microsoft Cloud to solve business challenges
When selling the Microsoft Cloud, having a solid understanding of the capabilities and unique strengths of Business Applications, Azure, Security & Identity, and Modern Work solutions can drive digital transformation and unlock greater business value and outcomes. We’ve designed this series to help you better reimagine how you bring together data, people, and processes by clarifying their differentiators, core value propositions, and synergies.
Additionally, customers rely on you as a trusted advisor to help them solve business challenges or pain points and accelerate their digital transformation. That’s why during each session, we’ll delve into the most pressing challenges that customers face today—and how Microsoft Cloud solution areas deliver the outcomes they’re looking for.
Drive value-based conversations and expand sales opportunities
One of the biggest dilemmas we hear from partners is simply knowing how to kick off a One Microsoft Cloud conversation. This series is designed to help you start those conversations and pitch solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
In each session, we’ll share effective conversation starters to help you tee up fruitful discussions with existing customers as well as prospects. We’ll also walk you through pivotal questions to ask customers, so you can deepen your understanding of their specific needs and challenges.
Furthermore, we’ll provide guidance and best practices for answering common customer questions and handling objections that may come up in your conversations. In addition, you’ll get tips to help you expand your sales pipeline through upselling, cross-selling, and opportunity identification. At the end of each session, you’ll walk away with the confidence to lead productive, value-based conversations with existing customers and introductory discussions with new customers.
