Last year was historical for Microsoft when we brought together two of our biggest conferences: Microsoft Inspire – our annual partner conference, and Microsoft Ready – our fiscal year kick-off for internal sales, marketing, and engineering professionals. From a number’s perspective alone – nearly 40,000 people in attendance – it was incredible. The real magic though is the space it created for our partners and field teams to connect and collaborate in person.

I’m excited to share just one of the ways we will build and strengthen those connections this year in Las Vegas.

This July, our team is staging a Small, Medium & Corporate (SMC) Sales Center in the Hub at Mandalay Bay for partners and employees to engage and connect. Our Hub location will be a unique opportunity for all partner types to meet face-to-face with our sales teams including account executives, solution specialists and channel managers. Here’s what else you can expect at our SMC Sales Center:

SMC Sales Center

  • Worldwide Sales Teams onsite to share programs and investments in the Corporate and Small and Medium Business segments
  • A concierge desk dedicated to territory planning, Solution Areas, and Sales Plays
  • Organic networking opportunities with other partners and Microsoft employees
  • Theater sessions featuring Microsoft leaders and partner peers

Our hope is that you’ll walk away from Microsoft Inspire with a deeper understanding of our FY20 SMC programs, in addition to more concrete territory alignment and a go-to-market plan formed in conjunction with our sales teams. Ultimately, we want you to leave Microsoft Inspire feeling nothing less than inspired about the massive potential we have in SMC!

I’ve personally put a big emphasis on celebrating amazingness in my team this quarter – taking the time to build up our successes. And I invite our partners to share in this same sentiment with us in July: Let’s celebrate our FY19 successes as we build new connections and strengthen existing relationships moving into FY20. I’m excited to see you all at Microsoft Inspire!
