Today, Microsoft announced the next generation of Windows and what it means for enterprises, and I couldn’t be more excited for partners and our joint customers. I encourage all partners to read the announcement blog in full to get a good look at the features and benefits.

What does this mean to partners? While we are only in the early stages of development of Windows 10, and we are not recommending you proactively pitch customers on Windows 10 yet, there are several things you can do to prepare:
  • Download the Windows 10 Technical Preview on October 1st and start testing.
  • Encourage customers to continue their existing Window deployment plans, as this is the best way to get ready for Windows 10.
  • Use content available at the Partner Marketing Center to help answer customer questions about Windows 10.
  • Keep running the Enterprise Mobility Campaign using the materials available at http://aka.ms/EnterpriseMobilityCampaign.
I’m sure many of you have questions, and you can find some answers in the Partner Marketing Center. Look for more communications around Windows 10 as we get closer to release.

I hope you share my excitement for the value this brings to businesses around the world and the opportunity it provides to you. I look forward to hearing your feedback.
