As I indicated in last week’s post I’ve been traveling through India; earlier last week I was visiting our team and partners in Delhi, which included attending a shiny goal-setting workshop with the Ricoh executive team. I also had an opportunity to meet with local press.

 
Now I write from Singapore—in between more exciting meetings with partners—and the last leg of my trip takes me to Australia before making the long journey back.
 
Back in Redmond, WPC momentum continues to build: Partner registration trends are strong and my prediction that we hit capacity remains a real possibility.
 
Changing topics to our WPC 2012 Sales and Marketing track…

I’m delighted to announce that Frank Shaw, Microsoft Corporate VP for PR and communications, will deliver a session on “Global Trends Impacting Success of Marketing and Communications.” This is a must-attend session for partners. It’s exciting to see the overall Sales and Marketing track grow from previous years into arguably the industry’s largest marketing event of this kind as measured by partner attendance. All topics are chosen by partners and for partners, and the focus is on helping partners learn about lead-generation methods and digital media to grow business. In addition to Frank, we’ll be featuring your peers sharing their best practices, and additional featured speakers including David Meerman Scott and Verne Harnish.
