Increase your search ranking on Pinpoint
Just as you want your company website to be at the top of search engine results, you want your profile to top the list in Pinpoint searches. Increase your chances of the right customers finding you:
Keywords matter most. As you craft your profile, be aware that the keywords users search carry the most weight in Pinpoint results. Be sure your company profile and descriptions of your business applications and services contain the most likely search terms.
Hot tip! You can use keyword search tools such as the Bing Ads Tool to help determine the most relevant choices.
Competencies come next. Competencies are a great way to differentiate your organization, and cloud competencies in particular are more heavily weighted in the search algorithm, so be sure your competencies are up-to-date.
Be responsive. Responding to leads (accept or pass) received through the Partner Center count as a response and can give you a boost in ranking.
Bonus hack: “Ratings & Reviews” also carry weight with Pinpoint’s search, so don’t be shy about asking your many satisfied customers to leave a review or give you a rating. Having recent reviews (within the past six months) bump you up in the search results.

Ingredients for a great profile

Tell them why they want to hire you by highlighting your expertise and unique value in the first one to three sentences. These sentences are what will show up in the list of results, so it’s critical to write them with this in mind.

Don’t lead leads astray. Be sure your contact information is current – email, phone, mailing address, website. Also, “profile freshness” counts toward your ranking, so check in regularly.
