With roughly one week to go, my inbox is filled with WPC Connect requests to meet with great partners from all over the globe. I have a strategy plotted on how I am going to get the most from the conference. We are fortunate to have a few others attending from Peters & Associates so we will divide and conquer on sessions that are relevant to our business. I look forward to making new friends—and seeing a few old ones as well.
Toronto, Here We Come
The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference is all about preparing for the next fiscal year with Microsoft, but it’s also about networking. There are a variety of options—beyond Connect sessions—happening afterhours for attendees to establish working relationships with other partners and Microsoft representatives. For instance, WPC Partner Award-winner SoftwareONE returns to the scene of their first WPC party, held at a local establishment called the Loose Moose. The SoftwareONE party is now legendary—definitely a must-attend event for other partners. I highly suggest going to regional parties and receptions, too. And make it a point to hit your respective lounges at the Solution Innovation Center.
The opportunities to meet other partners are practically endless: meals, events, parties, sessions … Frankly, just about everywhere! Be sure to take advantage and network—you never know who you may run into!
Microsoft Inspire is the go-to event for every partner: Connect and collaborate to accelerate success—for you and your customers
