In my opinion, if you’re a Microsoft partner and helping your customers implement solutions that help their businesses work better – you’re a winner. And that’s what this week’s Three on Thursday is all about: winners.

The positive, congratulatory, partner chatter we observed on Twitter and Facebook regarding the announcements is also another reason that I wanted to feature our award-focused posts, as the collaborative and aspirational theme of this year’s conference, “A New Era. Together” means again, that we recognize these partners in particular for their exceptional contributions to technology. But it also recognizes all of you.

During WPC this year, I’ll be producing and hosting our MPN Live series all through the conference, and be sure to join us on Tuesday, July 10th, when we recognize the 2012 winners and talk to a few of them at 8:30 AM EDT, 11:00 AM EDT and at 5:00 PM EDT.

And to recap this week’s Three, which is all about awards:

In this post, Jon writes, “Our Partner of the Year Awards recognizes the best business wins of our top partners and the strong efforts our partners make in their communities.”

Kati, our WPC experience ambassador indicated, “With nearly 3,000 submissions and many new categories, the judges really had their work cut out for them.” And I can attest to this as I was one of the judges. A lot of amazing work was included in the submissions.

“Their amazing solutions are as varied as the industries and customers they support and the parts of the world in which they do business,” is what Julie highlighted in her blog. The global nature of the awards is what makes THIS awards program so fantastic. Aside from the Olympics or World Cup, how many other Awards programs can boast so many countries as represented?

Finally, what I am especially abuzz about is the way that we’re presenting all the award stories, but to represent the true global nature of this program, we’ve built all the awards into this rich map  – so explore the world of possibilities.

After all, you’re a winner. And I can’t wait to meet you in a few days.
