Microsoft Inspire is a huge event. Every day is packed with activities, from our morning Corenotes to workshops and sessions, to meetings and events planned by regions and partner networking groups. With so much going on, and with over 15,000 attendees, planning in advance is essential to maximizing your conference experience and ensuring you can make the most meaningful connections.

To help attendees successfully navigate Microsoft Inspire we have several resources available for use, both pre-event and while on-site in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Start with the MyInspire website

The best place to begin preparing for the conference is MyInspire. Microsoft Inspire attendees can login with the same account used when registering. MyInspire features include a session scheduler tool for building your personal conference agenda, and a meeting scheduler to set up meetings with both partner and Microsoft attendees. You will also find event information and messages from the Microsoft Inspire planning team. The site is mobile-friendly, responsive, and available to all registered attendees.

This year, based on your feedback, we have redesigned the meeting tool formerly known as Connect. It’s now called “MyInspire Connections” and has a number of feature improvements including:

  • Personalized recommendations for attendee networking, sessions, and exhibitors to visit
  • New Outlook integration, with dynamic updates for meetings and sessions
  • Limits to the number of messages and meeting requests you can receive per day
  • The ability to share your own personal filtered list of sessions with a custom URL
  • An experts directory that lets attendees search across all Microsoft experts

Coming soon: The MyInspire mobile app

MyInspire will also be available in a convenient, full-featured mobile app, available for download on June 25 in versions for Apple iOS and Android. Like the MyInspire website, the mobile app allows you to manage your personal agenda, find and connect with other attendees by sending messages and setting up meetings, and access interactive venue and floor maps.  You can also see which attendees you’re connected to on LinkedIn. Be sure to add your LinkedIn account information to your profile in the mobile app so you can take advantage of this feature. To do so, go to the Attendee Directory in the app and select Connections.

Watch for our Know Before You Go guide

Later this month we will release our “Know Before You Go” guide, the most comprehensive single source for detailed Microsoft Inspire information. It covers a wide range of topics, including arrival and check-in, conference badges, transportation, session and event schedules, venue logistics, and much more. In addition to the guide, our Microsoft Inspire website remains a great place to learn about the conference. You can view the FAQ and conference agenda, find out about sessions and speakers, and discover all the exciting things happening in The Commons, site of The Community Hub, area lounges, and the Expo Hall. Microsoft Partner Network members can also login with their Microsoft ID to learn the identity of the multiple Grammy Award winner featured performer at our One Celebration at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Register for Microsoft Inspire

Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas is only a month away, and I can hardly wait. It will be a very full week of learning, featuring a wide variety of sessions and workshops built around this year’s key themes of Innovation, Partnership, and Leadership.  Microsoft Inspire is also the best place to make connections and establish profitable relationships with fellow partners, Microsoft employees, and exhibitors and sponsors.

Additionally, this will be the first year that Microsoft Inspire will be co-located with Microsoft Ready, the annual Microsoft sales and technical kick-off, creating more opportunities to make meaningful connections with the global Microsoft community. Watch this brief video to hear why  partners and Microsoft executives are so excited about the shared experiences made possible by the first-ever co-location of Microsoft Inspire and Microsoft Ready.

Register now and reserve your spot at what promises to be a truly memorable and energizing week of week of learning, making connections, and celebrating partnership. Don’t miss it.
