Microsoft Teams was launched just two years ago and is already being used by more than 329,000 organizations in 44 languages around the world. And with new extensibility capabilities recently added, partners are now developing business solutions on the Microsoft Teams platform to differentiate themselves and increase their profitability with repeatable IP. One partner solution—a workplace accelerator to Teams—integrates new work streams for the customer and customizes the interface for specific business cases. The partner licenses the solution for $60,000, with ongoing maintenance and support service charges added! I encourage you to start using Teams so you can understand the platform and build custom teamwork solutions for your customers. Leave no Customer Behind with Modern Desktop This is the year we must all work together to transition customers to Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus so no customer is left behind. With end of support for Windows 7 and Office 2010 coming next year, our worldwide field sales team is being asked to ensure customers are making the transition. We’re looking to you, our trusted partners, to help customers prepare and deploy the modern desktop across their organizations. The transition creates a tremendous opportunity for partners. A recent Forrester study found that partners can earn up to $24 per user per month on services related to the modern desktop.
