As promised, we are providing more ways for you to develop your cloud skills! Whether you’re new to Azure or already a cloud professional, our Azure skills training courses can help you level up your skills and gain opportunities for career advancement, higher salaries, and more interesting work.

Our growing list of Azure-focused Massively Open Online Courses (MOOCs) allow you to learn at your own pace in an interactive, online environment. These trainings offer the chance to move forward with your own skill-building through videos, labs, graded assessments, and more.

Technology professionals can start with Azure Fundamentals for an introduction to the Azure environment. Those wishing to become multi-cloud specialists can check out Azure for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experts courses, or even dive right into more specific courses like Azure Storage or Azure Networks. Explore some of our new on-demand courses and continue your Azure skills training journey with these new courses.

Azure Fundamentals

This course is perfect for people who are looking to learn about what Microsoft Azure is, how it works, the services it provides and how best to leverage them. The Azure Fundamentals course provides fundamental level knowledge that will help you learn the basics of working with Azure.

In it, you will learn what Azure is and how it’s structured as a service. Among other things, you’ll also learn about Azure virtual machines and how to deploy Windows or Linux virtual machines, Azure Networking, and the different types of Azure Storage.

This course is for you if you have a general understanding of cloud computing, including services and usage models (i.e. SaaS, IaaS and PaaS models) and a basic understanding of client server computing and the components that make that up (including storage, networking, compute, and identity).

Azure for AWS Experts

If you are an Amazon Web Services (AWS) practitioner or are AWS certified and would like to learn Azure to complement your ability to architect solutions in more than one cloud, then the Azure for AWS Experts course is for you. This training is designed to relate IaaS technologies used in AWS to those used in Microsoft Azure. This self-paced course provides an in-depth discussion and practical hands-on training of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS), including Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networking, and deployment options.

In it, you’ll review detailed procedures for individual lab tasks along with short “how-to” videos that can help you see how it’s done. Assessment checkpoints throughout the course will help gauge your level of understanding.

Azure Storage

Azure Storage is the cloud storage solution for modern applications that rely on durability, availability, and scalability to meet the needs of their customers. It is highly scalable, globally accessible, and automatically load-balances your data based on traffic. In this course, Azure Storage, you’ll learn about different types of storage, configuration options, and management tools. The course covers virtual machine storage, unstructured storage (blobs), and structured data (tables and queues). It also touches on day-to-day management tasks like backup, site recovery, and storage analytics.

Learners in this course should have a general understanding of cloud computing, including services and usage models, as well as a good foundation in accessing and using simple Windows PowerShell commands.
