Are you going to Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2014 in Washington, D.C.? Our team has a wealth of activities planned including breakout sessions and roundtables. We hope you’ll join us.

Breakout sessions

The MPN Training and Support teams have a few sessions at WPC 2014 that you don’t want to miss:
  • Microsoft Partner Network: Enabling partners to win with devices, services, and applications
  • Microsoft Partner Network Support: Getting the most out of your technical support benefits
  • Microsoft Partner Network Training: Enabling success through partner skills and capability development
See the Session Catalog for exact times and locations.

Roundtable discussions

I encourage you to sign up for one of the MPN Training team’s roundtable sessions. These small-group sessions are specifically designed to facilitate conversations about your experience with Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) training and provide our team with input. This year we have two sessions:
  • Leveraging MPN Training: New resources from Microsoft and lessons from partners

Tuesday July 15, 1:30-2:30 pm at Marriott Marquis Ballroom – Salon 7

In this roundtable discussion we ask you to share feedback and best practices about training your team. We’d like to hear how you’re using MPN Training resources and how we can help improve your experience.

  • Talent Gap: How cloud partners are recruiting, retaining, and training their staff

Tuesday July 15, 3-4 pm at Marriott Marquis Ballroom – Salon 7

This roundtable discussion is designed to foster discussion about hiring needs, especially as partner organizations are moving to the cloud.

Both roundtable sessions will be facilitated by our newest team member, Mary Sutton. Mary looks forward to getting to know you, our partners, and hearing your thoughts.

To register for a roundtable session, send an email to MPNTrainingDM@microsoft.com and indicate which session you’d like to attend: Leveraging MPN Training or Talent Gap.

Play a game

Finally, for technical partners who are up for a challenge, swing by the MPN booth and play one of two games: Microsoft Office 365 Technical Assessment Game, or Microsoft Azure Technical Assessment Game. This will be a fun way to play and learn about these cloud offerings.
