Today we kicked off MPN Live from WPC11—a new talk show program that looks at Microsoft news from the community and industry analyst points of view. While we had a late start (it’s always a fun time ironing out the myriad technical issues that can come up when producing a live grassroots production) we had a great program which included both guests in the booth and guests joining us through Skype.

The transition to the cloud, the opportunities available for partners, and the partner-to-partner potential were some of the points discussed. Mary Jo Foley and Ray Wang were guests, along with IAMCP member Kelvin Kirby and Dr. Petri I. Salonen, CEO of TELLUS International. On Skype was Mark Drapeau from Microsoft joining from Washington D.C., and Angus Fox, CEO at Multizone Limited, joining from the U.K.

The ability to mix and bring different solutions together was one of the key points of discussion. And the value of partner-to-partner collaboration to open new doors is something Microsoft partners should focus on both on-site at WPC, and ongoing into the new Microsoft fiscal year.

Be sure to join us for the next edition of MPN Live, at 5pm, Monday, July 11!
