I am excited to announce that we’ll be producing a live series – seven thirty-minute segments – during the course of Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 (WPC11)! This is a roundtable-style program where attendees and Microsoft have a conversation about the conference.

Capturing the Buzz
The magic of the conference can be found in the conversation and exchange of ideas happening outside of keynotes or sessions. Seeking to capture this, for each program the editorial team will discuss the topline conversational buzz around each day’s keynote and from the overall highlights of daily events, as well as what is captured from chatter across the social Web, to spark lively dialogue about the event. Editorial topics will be determined based on the zeitgeist of conversation generated by the keynotes, announcements, and the developments of the day. The broader community can share their thoughts on posts that published on the news blog module on our site.
A Diverse Participant Mix
Guests will include Microsoft partners and industry analysts, alongside Microsoft ambassadors to participate in a thirty-minute live stream video chat, where ideas and thoughts about the conference are shared with the broader community online. By leveraging social technologies, we’ll also empower remote Microsoft partner participants to connect and weigh in via a Skype-enabled video call. The live stream programs will be embedded on the home page of the Community site, and we’ll be promoting with the hashtags #MPNlive and #WPC11, sending traffic to http://bit.ly/MPNlive (this will naturally link to our during-event home page that will have the player embedded).
Additional Programming through WPC11
Varvid.tv will also be broadcasting live at this URL from the MPN booth at 3PM, so stay tuned in to the commentary and opinion throughout the event. Also, be sure to not miss the NZTech Podcast, which is one of the number one tech podcasts on iTunes, for their daily recap of WPC11.
