Calling all Microsoft Partners—I want to hear from you! I want to hear about your best Teams solutions so I can share them on the main stage at Inspire this July. How are you making Microsoft’s versatile business app even more powerful? What are you doing to make the workday easier for millions of Teams users around the world?

In just two years, more than 500,000 organizations, including 91 of the Fortune 100, have deployed Microsoft Teams to collaborate across locations, time zones, and languages. Teams is Microsoft’s fastest growing business app in history, bringing communication, project management, and collaboration to a whole new level.

18 months from now, I believe users will be spending half their workday in Teams, instead of Outlook, creating enormous growth opportunities for partners. By enabling customers with next-level teamwork services and custom solutions, and even SaaS with the Teams platform, you—our trusted partners—are re-shaping workplace productivity.

Challenge: Who has the best Teams solution?

To highlight partner innovation, I invite Microsoft partners to share with me your best Teams solution. If chosen, I will showcase your organization on the main stage at Inspire 2019! Together, we are helping customers revolutionize their workplaces in this era of digital transformation, and I want the world to know about it.

For step-by-step guidance on how to submit your solution, go to the Teamwork Solution Acceleration Initiative page. But hurry! Submissions must be received by the May 30th deadline to be considered.

Teams solutions increase profitability and customer reach

The momentum around Teams is strong because it helps solve fundamental challenges within the modern workplace. According to the recent Forester Total Economic Impact of Microsoft Teams  customer study, Teams helps customers innovate better and faster in an increasingly competitive marketplace, and enables mobile employees to be more productive and better connected. Teams also provides integrated solutions in a secure, compliant, and easy to manage workspace.

“88% of survey respondents felt having all of their solutions in one place saves time”

In one hub, partners can bring together all the Microsoft Office 365 applications their customers love—along with important data and information, and third-party apps—to help employees get their jobs done more efficiently. Partners can also tailor solutions to their customer’s workflows, unique needs, and specific industry requirements to accelerate their business transformation.

Creating Teams solution success

Microsoft partners taking advantage of the Teams opportunity are experiencing impressive business growth through the customizable and extensible platform of Teams.

One partner in Sweden built a custom solution for a hospital that connects patient data, clinical studies, images, dashboards, and scheduling availability into the Teams hub. It enables their customer to run multi-discipline cancer board conferences more efficiently. Caregivers now have all the information they need in one place, saving precious time to provide better patient care. The partner is extending this solution to other customers.

ISV partners like Polly, Trello, Jiro Cloud, and Wrike have seen significant business growth by building integration with Teams. Some have actually doubled their user base with Teams and broadened distribution channels, showing that integration with the evolutionary business app pays off the initial investment.

Getting started on solutions

As you think about the unique solutions your organization could offer, consider these four focus areas:

  1. Streamline processes and workflows with PowerApps & Flow in Teams
  2. Deploy SharePoint solutions and web parts natively in Teams tabs
  3. Automate tasks with bots
  4. Leverage Graph to manage the Teams lifecycle and build intelligent solutions.

The solutions you build for customers across industries constantly inspire me.  Together, we are challenging the status quo, pushing the boundaries, and changing how we work together one team at a time. I look forward to hearing about your solutions and possibly sharing it on stage at Inspire.  If you have any questions, please reach out to tsainitiative@microsoft.com.

I’ll see you in Las Vegas at Inspire!
