Many of you have been participating in Managed Reseller incentives, which reward eligible partners in Canada, Latin America, EMEA, and Asia for selling and fulfilling Open license agreements, with a focus on licensing for small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers. Managed Reseller incentives are paid partially as rebates, and partially as co-op marketing funds, which are used by partners for a wide variety of marketing and readiness activities.
Managed Resellers- See you at WPC in Toronto!
One of the partner activities that can be reimbursed using earned co-op are Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) registration fees and related hotel and airfare expenses. If you have earned co-op and join us at WPC in Toronto this summer, you can utilize your Microsoft co-op funds to pay for your WPC registration fee as well as up to $3,000 USD of hotel and airfare. The co-op claims need to be submitted after WPC. Please note, we have raised the travel allowance starting with the July 1, 2012 usage period (to $3,000 USD).
As always with any co-op marketing claim, please remember to keep invoices and receipts for all these expenses in order to successfully submit claims.
I hope this means I’ll see a lot of you at my sessions!
If you are not currently earning Microsoft partner incentives, take a look and see if you might be eligible for any – Microsoft Partner Network Partner Incentives site.
