Inspire 2020: Connect with Microsoft partners

Updated March 23, 2020: The safety of our community is a top priority. In light of health safety recommendations from public health authorities, we will not be holding Microsoft Inspire 2020 as an in-person event. We are exploring alternative ways to bring our partner community together to connect and learn. Stay tuned for more details to come.

Believe it or not, our annual partner conference Microsoft Inspire is just around the corner. I can’t wait to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together and discuss the exciting opportunities for the coming year. Microsoft Inspire 2020, scheduled from Sunday, July 19 to Thursday, July 23 in Las Vegas, is an opportunity for networking, learning and collaborating. As in years past, the time we spend together will strengthen our partnerships and set everyone on the road to success in the year ahead!

Microsoft Inspire registration for partners will open on March 24, 2020. Sign up now to be notified as soon as registration opens so you can take advantage of early pricing!

The Microsoft Inspire experience

Microsoft Inspire is my favorite event of the year. It’s an unmatched opportunity for our partners to hear the latest innovations and strategy from Microsoft leaders, and learn from other partner organizations from around the world.

The structured networking opportunities and peer-to-peer learning programs give partners a chance to envision their growth through customized content sessions and group discussions. Some of the unique collaborative sessions available cover everything from Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider program, to ISV resources, strategies on co-selling, the Microsoft Marketplace and so much more.

Over the past ten years, nearly 130,000 people, representing more than 150 countries, have attended Microsoft Inspire. In my opinion, it is one of the most valuable ways we connect with each other every year.

To ensure our partners have a great experience at Inspire 2020, we will have The Hub—a centralized expo experience for Microsoft Inspire—that offers a wide range of interactive and personalized experiences to help participants navigate the week. Programs and offers are available to partners at the Partner Network Booth.

While our top focus is making Microsoft Inspire 2020 an incredible experience for partnership opportunities, we’re also continuing our commitment to creating an earth-friendly event. During last year’s event, we partnered with many organizations to meet our target initiatives on wellness and sustainability.

One example in 2019, was the way the event team reimagined Microsoft Inspire signage—reducing the square footage of printed graphics by using digital signage where available, and using recycled/recyclable materials for all printed signs. I’m proud of the sustainability initiatives we’re working on for Microsoft Inspire 2020, furthering the efforts we made in 2019:

  1. Three Square Food Bank, a local southern Nevada food bank, donated excess food from Inspire attendee meals prepared at all MGM properties.
  2. TMS, our primary transportation supplier, donated to, offsetting 562 tons of carbon dioxide from the ground transportation used to shuttle Inspire attendees between their hotels, venue locations and the airport.
