WPC 2012 in Toronto is now behind us – and what a conference it was! I had very high expectations, but WPC managed to exceed them. Personally, this was the best WPC I have attended.

During WPC, we learned about the top eight technology trends: cloud, data, social, natural interaction, ecosystem of computers, consumerization of IT, connectivity, and machine learning. And Microsoft, along with our great partner ecosystem, has the solutions to answer all the needs these trends generate!

There are so many things happening that I can’t even list all the new technologies and possibilities. But the thing is, FY13 is the year to execute and grow your business. Almost all the new technologies are already available–either released, beta or preview. And it’s our responsibility as partners to learn the new technologies and innovate on them.

When the new releases like Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Office 2013, SharePoint 2013, the new Azure, Office 365, and new Dynamics solutions roll out they’ll be ready for our clients. And it’s our job to make sure our clients and our own solutions are ready for these technologies and platforms of the new era.

The slidedecks from sessions are now available on the WPC Connect site; just go to a session and you’ll find the slides there. Take your time to go through them and remember to share the information inside your own organization and to your clients and prospects.

The world is somewhat shadowed with financial uncertainity at the moment. But FY13 will be awesome for Microsoft partners. The new era is finally here and I firmly believe this will be the best year ever for us partners and our clients.

And one more thing, you can now pre-purchase your WPC 2013 Houston all-access pass at the alumni price of $1,595 before September 15, 2012.

See you at Microsoft events through FY13!
