As we get closer to Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), I am excited to announce the 2016 Partner of the Year Award Winners and Finalists. This awards program allows us to take a moment to reflect and recognize the innovative and transformative work done by our partners around the world. These award winners are examples of the excellence that can be found throughout our partner ecosystem.
There were more than 2,500 nominations submitted from 119 countries for the 37 global award opportunities this year. There are also 102 Country Partner of the Year Awards honoring partner achievements across the globe. Each nomination was judged blindly three times from a panel of more than 550 Microsoft subject-matter experts. Making these decisions wasn’t easy, with so many partners showcasing so many great examples of customer success, problem solving and innovation.
It was evident this year that our partner ecosystem is maturing in its transformation. Many award winners found that embracing cloud technology was a spark for continued innovation and rapid growth. Microsoft’s cloud technology enables partners to develop creative applications, transform go-to-market, and deliver greater customer success.
This year’s award winners highlight the extraordinary power of partnership and the proof of customer confidence. It’s apparent that when customers connect with a trusted partner, they also demonstrate a stronger commitment to products like Azure, Office 365 and CRM Online. Most important, together we’ve achieved the ability to delight our customers with technology that better meets their needs.
