Every year, we recognise innovative partners who have delivered outstanding Microsoft-based solutions and services. The Partner of the Year Awards recognises those who have had outstanding success in a wide variety of categories, including cloud to edge technologies, entrepreneurial spirit, social impact and more.
This year, we’re so proud of our partners, who have continued to respond to rapidly changing external circumstances, delivering support, solutions, and services to both their and our shared customers. This year there were over 250 entries from UK partners, testament to the fact that the UK is a hub for technical talent.
We’re excited to announce this year’s list of UK partners who have been recognised for the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards 2021.
Special congratulations go to Phoenix, our UK Partner of the Year.
Phoenix Software, an Azure Expert MSP, really wowed the judges this year with how they stepped forward to support to aid their public sector customers, delivering at speed when they needed it most. Their Azure Virtual Desktop deployment at the Royal Marsden enabled it to keep over 80 percent of its cancer treatment services running through the pandemic. This repeatable solution has since been rolled out to a further 25 NHS trusts. Their agile and innovative approach has helped to deliver 70 percent year-on-year growth across the Microsoft Cloud.
But it wasn’t only their innovation and growth that stood out to the judges. It was the mindset they have embraced as a team. Staff welfare and creating a diverse and inclusive workplace has been integral to everything they do. In 2020, Phoenix won two CRN Women in Channel Awards, and are active members of the WIT Network. As a Disability Confident employer, all staff sit the Accessibility Fundamentals training, and they provide work experience for people with accessibility needs. Their Accessibility Centre of Excellence is a purpose-built adaptive facility that showcases Microsoft accessibility features.
Relentlessly focusing on positive societal change, they have worked closely with Microsoft to amplify the Get On 2021 digital skills campaign and formed a partnership with national charity Young Enterprise. They also launched sustainability initiatives, and helped councils tackle mental health, unemployment and poverty issues with their Regional Recovery initiative.
We’d also like to congratulate this year’s finalists for UK Partner of the Year: ANS Group and Blue Yonder.
This year’s competition was close as each partner was unique in showing great innovation and differentiation to drive great customer outcomes.
In the global categories we have also seen great success with two partners winning global categories and 16 finalists!
Congratulations to our UK Partners standing out across partners from around the globe.
Congratulations to all our partners on another successful year for the UK partner ecosystem. We look forward to what we can achieve together in FY22.
