A-Z with Solution Workspace – Build, Go-to-Market and Sell

Welcome back to the Virtual Partner Development Manager series! In our last blog we talked about the importance of building skills in your organisation to drive business performance. Now, I’m going to show you how we can help you build a market-ready solution. Because it’s not enough to just have a great idea. You also have to build it, get it market ready, and sell it.

If you’re not sure what tools and resources you need to get started, or where to find it, Solution Workspace is here to help. We know you can achieve great things and want to give your solutions the best start. To do this you need access to the right resources at the right time, tools you know work, and tips to get your solution in front of the right customers.

We hear from our partners that when they’re trying to build applications or services, they can find getting these resources and tools challenging. Often their pain points are:

  • Wasting valuable time searching numerous websites
  • Getting started with a new solution that crosses over different Microsoft technologies
  • Simply knowing where to start

Imagine how much time you could save if you had a clear path through the entire process. An optimised platform tailored specifically for your solution. Let me share with you Solution Workspace.

“Solution Workspace gives me a roadmap to what to expect next when I’m working on a project. That gives me a lot of advantage in the market because there aren’t any surprises. Plus, all the information is fully updated. I can rely on it and build my plan perfectly.”

– Adrian Hamerski, Owner, Code Sphere Network

Low initial investment for big payoff

As our new on-demand digital experience, the Solution Workspace provides quick access to tools, resources, and technical specialists.

Once you sign in, you’ll be asked to answer a few short questions about the solution you’re building, your focus area, and the Microsoft products you’ll be using. Once complete, hit submit and you have created a custom workspace with all the most up-to-date and relevant resources for you to start building. Add your team members and within minutes you are all connected in one digital space. It’s easy to get started – see a quick video overview here.

“The biggest benefit I see with Solution Workspace is the centralisation of information. We had scoured the Microsoft site looking for some specific training videos and found them within minutes on Solution Workspace.”

– Guy Cervi, Founder at Trans4orm Solutions Inc

See and plan for what’s ahead

Solution Workspace acts as a virtual Partner Development Manager, giving you a guiding hand, with a step-by-step approach that walks you through logical steps of building apps or services. Plus, there’s nothing better than having an organised checklist which you can tick-off as you complete the tasks. The rest of your team can also monitor the complete process. As one partner put it: “I know I want to build something, but the most important question is where to start. With Solution Workspace the first thing I see is ‘Build checklist’. Everything is all in one place.” And for those times you need a bit of extra help, you can leverage Microsoft experts and partner-tested resources at each part of the solution’s lifecycle.
