It’s been an amazing year as we accomplished various feats, driving new businesses and creating history with strategic customer wins on the cloud. From building an intelligent cloud to reinventing productivity to creating more personal computing, we have had an enriching experience with you all.

We kick-started the year with one of the most remarkable WPC 2016 @ Toronto where we set the priorities for the year. Let’s have a quick look at the progress made in the last six months on the core partner priorities and our commitment towards them.

1. Build a cloud capable network of partners

We have more Cloud Competency Partners in our ecosystem and the number is increasing. To facilitate more skills on Cloud, we have revamped our curriculum on Partner University to offer targeted and relevant Sales | Presales and Technical Training on the Cloud Priorities.

We enhanced our core benefits to include Technical presales and deployment services which you can leverage when you begin selling and deploying – and all the way through when you have more complex deals in technologies.
We also set up the Cloud Enablement Desk to help partners in their journey to earn the first Microsoft Silver Cloud Competency. Through the program we provide you access to Cloud Program Specialist (CPS) for up to six months who will guide you through all the steps required to achieve silver competency. CPSs are chartered to provide you with the technical and business resources and tools to help you along the way. If you have not signed up yet, get started today.

2. Helped partners be profitable

CSP came out as the hero motion that helped many organizations drive deeper customer engagement, greater profitability, and an innovative revenue stream. Whether you’re already onboarded in the CSP program or looking for further information to get started, use the resources on MPN – CSP page to help you establish and grow your cloud business.

Starting July 2016, we have invested in Microsoft’s Practice Development Unit (PDU) towards building an exceptional partner ecosystem on Advance Azure Workloads, which can transform with world class solutions built on our Cloud Platform.

3. Drive digital transformation in FY17

The commitment of Microsoft’s Senior Leadership team towards Digital Transformation can be followed through the series of Blogs featured in our monthly India Partner Newsletter by Bertrand Launay, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Microsoft.

Recently, we launched the new Digital Transformation Marketing Assets page, which you can leverage to improve your customers’ business outcomes through digital technology. This page would let you find resources you need by filtering for customer problems, customer verticals, and products or solutions. Based on your feedback, we have also included the four pillars of digital transformation to serve different conversation needs.

Specifically for ISVs, we launched a new Microsoft Go-To-Market Service website that covers the most common questions we get about how to establish or further develop your partnership with Microsoft.
