These are exciting times. 2016 was a landmark year for India Inc. and the cloud. Millions of Indians are using digital technology in new and meaningful ways. And we at Microsoft India are happy to be a part of this excitement together with our partners.

By 2025, India is expected to have 15,000 tech startups generating about 3,50,000 employment opportunities, 20M SMBs on Cloud, more than 500M skilled professionals. The public cloud market in India currently valued at $1.1 bn, is expected to grow to $3.9 bn by 2020 and cloud spending in India will exceed $10 bn. India presents a huge opportunity for the public cloud market. It is this opportunity that is driving digital transformation across industries and businesses of all sizes.

During H1, our ascent to the cloud got off to a rousing start at Azure Basecamp – the biggest mobilization to drive Azure consumption in the country, yet. During these 2 days, your sellers teamed up with Microsoft to call customers and identified an astounding 200+ leads/ opportunities and secured 125 follow up meetings! We trained 360+ of your sellers across 283 partner organizations. Overall 62 partners were onboarded for the Azure Mentor Program and 80 partner CXOs are participating in CSP recruitment drives. Dynamics partners ran a large campaign to drive Azure – reaching out to 500+ existing NAV Customers.
