US Partner preview of Microsoft Inspire experiences

It’s been an exciting few months for me as the new US Partner Experience lead for Microsoft Inspire. I had just begun working at Microsoft when I attended the event in Toronto last July. It was incredible – from the sheer size of the conference, to meeting so many partners in the US lounge, to the sights and sounds of the Vision Keynotes, sessions, and expo floor.

Inspiration, innovation, and interaction have always been top of mind for the US Partner Team in designing the experiences we offer you throughout the conference. We’re expecting more than 3,000 US Partner attendees at Microsoft Inspire this July in Washington, DC, and I’m pleased to provide you with a preview of what you can expect.

US Regional General Session

On Tuesday, July 11 at 4:00 PM, Stephen Boyle, Vice President, Microsoft US Partner Group, will host the US keynote, for a discussion about partnering to help customers succeed through digital transformation. Stephen will be joined onstage by partners and Microsoft guests.

US Partner Sessions

Experts from across the Microsoft US team will lead sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday designed to help you build your business and practice and connect with customers and with Microsoft. To see current titles and descriptions, visit the Session Catalog, open the additional filters, and select United States from the Regional filter.

United States Regional Lounge

We’ve reimagined the US Regional Lounge at Microsoft Inspire, with consideration for feedback we received. Our space will help you network with other attendees – from the US and from other countries. The floorplan allows for better, more natural conversations between partners and with the US Partner Team. And, when you need a moment to relax and recharge, stop by the US Lounge.

US Partner Celebration

The US Partner Celebration is our opportunity to thank you for being a Microsoft US partner, celebrate the successes of the past year, and toast the year ahead. In each partner conference host city, we’ve been able to offer unique local experiences for the US Partner Celebration, like Epcot in Orlando, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture

This year is no exception. I’m excited to invite you to join us for the US Partner Celebration at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. This new landmark tells the history of the African-American experience, curating the rich art, culture, and stories of African-Americans in the evolution of our country. Microsoft is a proud supporter of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. To learn more, read this article by Fred Humphries, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Corporate Affairs, with his thoughts about the museum.

Since opening in September 2016, the museum has been an overwhelming success, and is sold out through August. We’re thrilled to offer you an opportunity to explore the museum at the US Partner Celebration and enjoy great food, beverages, and entertainment on the evening of Tuesday, July 11.
