Partners remain foundational to our business – certainly today – but perhaps even more so as we look to the future, and we collectively explore new scenarios, and capabilities that will enable us to unlock the incredible market opportunity that exists in “digital transformation”.

As much of Canada begins to emerge from the embraces of winter (albeit there appears to still be some wintery weather ahead), and prepare for Spring, so too is the time to really start looking ahead to what is always once of the best weeks of the year, Microsoft Inspire! While it is always a week full of inspiration, ideas and connections, what remains perhaps the single greatest highlight of the week, is the time dedicated to recognizing the amazing work you, our partners, across the ecosystem, have done to enable our shared customers transformation!

Celebrating 15 years of Canadian Innovation with the IMPACT Awards

The IMPACT Awards is always a key highlight of the week, marking the beginning of Microsoft Inspire. The annual award event, now in its 15th year, recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievements within Microsoft’s community of partners who are committed in the pursuit of quality, innovation and digital growth within and across Canada.

This year, we will recognize partners across 15 categories that have been updated to reflect the new realities and market in which we are operating. Irrespective of your business model, where you’re based in Canada or the industries and segments you serve, these categories can reflect and honor your company as a leading provider of Microsoft-based solutions and services and can lead to exciting new business opportunities.

Read our Blog post on IMPACT Awards, the categories, criteria and what being a winner means for your organization! Our team of judges are excited and looking forward to reading some incredible nominations this year!

MPN Partner of the Year Awards

In addition to our very own Canadian IMPACT Awards, each year at Microsoft Inspire, partners from across the globe take to the arena in recognition of their Microsoft-based solutions through the MPN Partner of the Year Awards. These award categories are Global in nature, and are in addition to the IMPACT Awards, and thus represents an additional opportunity to create recognition for the great work you are doing.

Our Canadian Country Partner of the Year is selected from the nominations submitted to the global awards, so, make sure you are nominating yourself for both global and local awards! Winners are highlighted and recognized by their peers during Microsoft Inspire 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada and are also invited to exclusive celebrations during the conference.

The Partner of the Year Awards nomination tool is open now until April 20, 2018, at 11:59 P.M. Pacific time. Get started.

While the awards and recognition are a key part of Microsoft Inspire, it also remains the premier opportunity for partners to gain an insider’s view into Microsoft’s vision for the future, in addition to creating engaging networking opportunities that can easily be leveraged to drive success in the year ahead.

Here are just some of the reason’s this year’s Microsoft Inspire cannot be missed:

Celebrating our Shared success together!

With over 17,000 attendees each year, Microsoft Inspire is the single largest Partner Conference we host!

We all know how fast the pace of tech business goes these days. But like it or not, staying on top of the latest innovations and movements shaping our industry is an essential part of what we do. The week is designed around providing insights to our key investments, roadmaps and launches, providing you strategic insights from industry experts and not to mention our Senior Leadership team as well as providing you key opportunities to connect with the right people!

As many of you have heard, this year we are co-locating Microsoft Inspire with Microsoft Ready. What this means for you is even greater opportunities to network with folks from Microsoft that have historically not attended Microsoft Inspire. The coming together of two major events simply means we are enhancing and adding to all the core things that make this event great, even greater

Below is our schedule for Microsoft Inspire for the week for Canadian attendees:

  1. Historically, we have kicked off Inspire on Sunday with our Canadian Regional Keynote and Welcome Reception. We will continue to do this at the Four Seasons this year, as we celebrate our IMPACT Award winners and discuss key insights for our Canadian Partners. Please be sure to plan your travel to arrive in Las Vegas in time for this “can’t miss” event of the week!
  2. On Monday evening we celebrate our IMPACT Award finalists at Picasso, a two-star Michelin awarded restaurant.
  3. We then move onto the Canadian Regional Party on Tuesday evening at Intrigue at the Wynn, this will be an opportunity for our Partners and Ready attendees to enjoy an evening of networking and entertainment!

On Wednesday evening, at one of the many shared Microsoft Inspire and Microsoft Ready experiences, Microsoft partners and employees will have the opportunity to celebrate shared successes together at the first ever One Celebration on Wednesday, July 18 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We’re thrilled to announce that Bruno Mars, eleven-time GRAMMY Award winner and twenty seven-time GRAMMY Award nominee, will be performing during this exciting night full of entertainment, networking and fun.

Feeling Inspired

Putting aside the opportunities to connect, develop and plan, what Microsoft Inspire is really about is inspiration – that which you bring to every discussion we have, but hopefully, also that which you walk away with as we embark on the year ahead. From the moment we arrive on Sunday, all the way through the Vision Keynotes to the One Celebration, it’s clear that we’re part of one of the greatest communities – one that is setting the foundation for changing the way we interact, do business and achieve more, in Canada and around the world!
So on behalf of the entire Canadian Microsoft Team, we are looking forward to seeing you at Microsoft Inspire this year!
