As I look back and reflect on this past fiscal year, I am truly humbled by the powerful transformation we’ve driven together, across Canada. From financial services to public sector, healthcare to manufacturing (and every industry in between), our Microsoft Partner network continues to work tirelessly to help upskill organizations and create new tailored solutions so that Canada can ultimately succeed in the digital era – truly amazing!
The Microsoft partner ecosystem is also thriving like never before – with over 9,000 partners in Canada and more than 3,000 partners that joined the Microsoft Canadian ecosystem during 2019, our community has never been stronger. It’s no wonder that IDC recognized Microsoft and our Partner network as the leader in the industry for applications and software development. It is truly amazing to see the unprecedented opportunity ahead for partners.
I couldn’t be more pleased to share this year’s 2019 IMPACT Award winners, announced last night during the Canadian Regional Keynote at Microsoft Inspire! If you are new to the community, the IMPACT Awards are an annual awards celebration that recognize the outstanding work our Canadian partners have done in delivering transformative solutions and for their impact in the markets in which we work and live, all across Canada.
This year we added a new theme to the awards and celebrated our partners as ‘Heroes of the North’. Why, you ask? The definition of a hero is someone who has a special strength and uses it to do good things and help other people – and that is exactly what the IMPACT awards are about. These finalists and winners continue to do outstanding work every day, leveraging their ‘superpowers’ to deliver exceptional services to our customers, and community.
