In response to the onset of the COVID-19 induced disruption, TM ONE launched its COVID-19 Office 365 campaign—an adaptation of Microsoft Business Continuity campaign—which offered customers a complimentary 6-month package of Office 365 E1 available with Microsoft Teams. Their agile response saw the company activate more than 70 customers from the Commercial, Education as well as Banking and Financial sector segments, with an estimated 15,000 users provisioned within the month of April 2020 alone.
Complementing the 6-month complimentary offering of Office 365 & Microsoft Teams, TM ONE in collaboration with Microsoft, launched the TM ONE Cloud Alpha (Cloud α) SaaS promotion in an effort to facilitate enterprises’ digital transformation journey and remote working capabilities during the pandemic. As of May 2020, the complimentary offering of Office 365 & Microsoft Teams increased sales funnels by 5 folds.

TM ONE’s partnership with Microsoft has seen the company reinforce its value proposition and is positioning it as a preferred vendor among customers across the private and public sectors—with the Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank) recently partnering TM ONE for its transition to a digital workplace. This customer win saw TM ONE secure 350 seats—a combination of Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 plans for Enterprise—as well as direct routing with voice, security, and data centre services.
Within 8 to 12 days of deployment, EXIM Bank was equipped with a comprehensive modern digital workplace capability—from online collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, for anytime, anywhere productivity. The integration of Microsoft Teams with EXIM Bank’s existing phone lines resulted in cost-efficient and seamless enterprise communications all backed by a single point of support by TM ONE. The bank has since appointed TM ONE to be its Digital Partner and is gearing towards cloud adoption services such as PaaS and SaaS solutions as it accelerates its digital transformation journey.

TM ONE’s partnership with Microsoft has seen it cultivate valuable brand equity and top-of-mind awareness among customers. And as TM ONE continues to open new revenue streams with its Microsoft partnership, it will be looking to build upon its existing portfolio of Microsoft solutions such as its Office 365 and Azure Stack services.
